However, it may happen that you simply do not want the piece and that decision must be expressed at the time of placing the piece. We offer a refund of your money in case you are not satisfied with the result achieved or if the body physically rejects the piece, such as: pain, inflammation, extreme dryness, rejection of the material, burning or even bleeding.
To avoid these inconveniences, we suggest that before deciding to use an ocular prosthesis, you consult an ophthalmologist and an ocular plastic surgeon (oculoplastic surgeon) who will prepare your case to be able to satisfactorily adapt a piece.
Cases in which ocular prosthesis should not be placed:
Patients without evisceration surgery with white eye, consumptive eye, painful eye, presence of infection, allergy to materials and even very emotionally and psychologically affected patients without professional treatment.
Once you have purchased your piece, we immediately coordinate the first consultation date, which will be an evaluation of your case, where we will meet you and clarify all your doubts, as well as take measurements of shape and colors. The first tests are done with already prepared and generic prostheses that you can choose according to your needs and comfort. Once finished, we will dedicate ourselves to making your piece and in a maximum of two days we will meet again for a second adaptation consultation. The piece has a 5-year warranty with annual maintenance that you must have with us to ensure its performance. Subsequent consultations can be arranged with a maximum of 3 included in the value of the purchased piece. If it does not meet your expectations, 90% of the cost invested will be reimbursed.
